Apple Martin, the daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, turned heads in her debut at the elite Le Bal des Debutantes in Paris. The 20-year-old attended the 2024 edition of this exclusive, invitation-only event that introduces young women from elite families to high society while supporting various charities.
For the glamorous occasion, Apple chose a breathtaking strapless evening gown from Valentino. It consisted of six tiers of dégradé blue silk plissé chiffon, fitted at the waist with a silk black bow. The fitted bodice accentuated her figure very well, adding to the total glamour of her appearance. According to Vogue, this was a custom-made piece that took a whopping 750 hours to create.
Apple completed her look with some strappy Valentino heels and a matching clutch, really upping the ante on the sophistication factor. Her makeup was subtle, yet striking: wispy lashes, a generous amount of highlighter and blush, and nude lips. She also wore her hair down in sleek, straight strands cascading over her shoulders as she posed for photographs.
Notably, she wasn’t the only Valentino in for the evening: mom Gwyneth Paltrow stole the show in a look from the brand’s spring 2025 collection. Chris Martin and his son also wore custom tuxedos from the luxury label, bringing in an element of family cohesion in fashion as well.
Gwyneth Paltrow shared several photos of the gala on her social media and gave glimpses of the magical night. The pictures showed tender moments between Gwyneth and Apple and playful family moments with her ex-husband Chris Martin. Paltrow captioned the photos, “A special long weekend in Paris,” summing up the evening of joy.
