A scroll through Bhumi Pednekar’s Instagram, and one knows the actor loves fashion as much as she loves food. Recently, while in Hyderabad for work, she spared a moment to taste the city’s culinary goodness before heading back to Mumbai. In a video shared on social media, Bhumi invites her followers to join her on a food tour at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
She playfully teases her crew about having a bite before the flight as she walks into the airport. Bhumi initiates her food tour, ordering a veg pesto sandwich coupled with mac and cheese. Soon, she makes up her mind to order a spicy cottage cheese wrap instead. To go with this, she orders a hazelnut cappuccino sprinkled with cinnamon and a French vanilla latte made from almond milk. Wrap tasted, it appears, along with a dollop of ketchup.
He had also feasted on a South Indian thali which was rich and filled with an assortment of sambar, rice, papad, curries, dal, pickles and chutneys.
This is not the first time one has seen the foodie side of Bhumi. Last year, during a visit to Delhi, she made it a point to stop at famous Carnatic Café in Indira Gandhi International Airport and had a delicious South Indian meal that also included a crispy, paper-thin dosa served with sambar and all types of chutneys. Such food explorations just prove the fact that Bhumi loves food, and she mixes her professional commitments with her personal interests.
