Bollywood celebrities shine at Durga Puja celebrations

With the beginning of Durga Puja celebrations, Bollywood stars join in the gala times, just like the rest of the country. Kajol, who has been hosting the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal in Juhu for years now, hosted a galaxy of stars once again this year. This time, at the vibrant pandal in Mumbai, it was Jaya Bachchan as several videos and photos went viral of their time together, all filled with joy.

Fashion lovers were more smitten with their breathtaking ethnic outfits oozing the grace of their traditional sarees. Here goes a look at their stunning ensemble, perfect to take inspiration for festive fashion.

Kajol’s Ethereal Saree Look
Looking every inch arresting, Kajol nailed a beautiful blush pink saree accentuated with a bright yellow and green digital floral print. The shimmering orange border lent sheen to the ensemble. Worn in a traditional drape, the pallu fell beautifully from her shoulder. A matching sleeveless blouse completed the look. She accessorised with a silver necklace featuring red rubies, alongside golden bangles and a statement ring.

Her makeup was just appropriate, with dark-winged eyeliner, thick lashes outlined with mascara, defined brows, and a hint of blush on her cheeks. Highlighter shining bright and a maroon lipstick gave an end to the look. Kajol’s hair was perfectly back-gelled to set a bun, completed with a tiny red bindi on the forehead, clicking the vibe of Pujo celebration.

Jaya Bachchan’s Graceful Ensemble
Jaya Bachchan draped herself in a bright yellow-pink combination saree, sadly done with golden detailing on the border. She paired it with a matching yellow-colored blouse, accessorizing her look with a potli bag, gold bangles, and stud earrings. The minimum makeup with the grey tresses beautifully styled half-clutched added to her timeless elegance.

This year, Kajol and Rani are hosting the Durga Puja pandal near SNDT Women’s University in Juhu. Other known faces who visited the event included Sumona Chakravarti, Ishita Dutta, Vatsal Seth, Tanisha Mukerji, and Sharvari, all adding their bit of cheer to the do.
