Jennifer Lopez was scorching at the premiere of Kiss of the Spider Woman at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. The actress, 55, stopped traffic in a see-through, beaded Valdrin Sahiti gown paired with piled-on Hassanzadeh jewels resembling a spider web.
The black lace, figure-hugging, long-sleeved gown had delicate embellishments that accentuated Lopez’s curvaceous figure. She wore black platform heels and a chic black clutch to complete the look in an attempt at glamour.
Channeling old-school Hollywood glamour, Lopez had her caramel-colored locks teased into a bouffant updo; her makeup featured bold eyes, fluttery lashes, and a soft nude lip. Ahead of the red carpet, she shared her look on Instagram, topping everything off with a sumptuous white fur coat.
But beyond stunning, Lopez also co-produced Kiss of the Spider Woman alongside her former husband Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and Diego Luna-to name a few-credited as producers in this long-anticipated musical by director Bill Condon, adapted from the famous stage musical, which was based on the 1976 novel by Manuel Puig.
Lopez is the elusive and mysterious Aurora-people call it a role that cements her career. Buzz from the festival praises loud, show-stopping musical numbers that contain an equivalent volume of powerful singing and dancing typical of Lopez’s signature moves.
Speaking of preparing for the same, Lopez said, “It was a challenge, but we pulled it off.” Fellow star Tonatiuh described her as a “force of nature, which was incredibly inspiring.
Although it is still without a distributor and release date, buzz at Sundance suggests this latest project of Lopez’s is bound to shake things up in the industry.
