Kangana Ranaut dazzles in purple saree Emergency screening

Kangana Ranaut stole the show in a regal purple saree during the screening of her upcoming movie Emergency in Nagpur. The evening was special as it brought the actress together with the Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, and his family.

This was a big teaser prior to the film’s release, and in relation to it, Kangana took to her Instagram as she flaunted her beautiful look while writing, “Today in Nagpur for the screening of #emergency for Honourable @gadkari.nitin ji and family.

Designer Jigya Patel is a Mumbai-based label that worked a luxurious purple silk saree with intricate brocade embroidery in gold, pink, and maroon. The wide border of the saree was studded with mochhi work, flower motifs, mirror work, and golden sequins, adding a larger-than-life look to her saree. Not stopping there, an ornate pallu with heavy tassel and sequins only added to the opulence.

She accessorized the look with a sleek, center-parted bun, completed the look with silver statement earrings, and went with pink embroidered potli. Her makeup was minimal: soft pink eyeshadow, mascara, light pink lips, and a delicate bindi to let the saree be the talk of the town.

Emergency, Kangana’s most talked-about first solo directorial project, releases on January 17. She will star as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film with an ensemble cast including Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry and Milind Soman, among others.
