Kareena Kapoor never ceases to raise the ante when it comes to ethnic glamour, as testified by her stunning appearance on the Filmfare OTT Awards 2024 red carpet. Dazzling in a glittering saree from Sabyasachi, the ace designer, she proved that she is very much the style icon.
Kareena took to her Instagram and posted a set of stunning photos showcasing her elegance in six yards of fabric. In the post, she asked: “Are you ready to cheer for Jaane Jaan tonight at @filmfare OTT awards?” The first photo showed her with her back to the camera with the saree and an almost backless blouse, which stole the show. More photos showed her striking beautiful poses in front of the full-length mirror.
The shimmery sequined saree was a showstopper, with intricate sequins shimmering under the lights. Draped in a classic Bollywood style, the pallu flowed effortlessly from her shoulders. Complementing the saree, Kareena chose a muted silver scoop-neck backless blouse, which allowed the saree to be the talk of the evening. Styled by Tanya Ghavri, she kept accessories minimal with diamond stud earrings and a statement ring completing her look.
Natural elegance was accentuated by makeup artist Pompy Hans with nude eyeshadow, eyeliner, and a few coats of mascara, along with kajal, which is her signature. The dewy base lent a luminous glow to her skin, whereas highlighter and a touch of blush added a pop of color. She completed the entire look with a nude-colored lipstick and a black bindi, which perfectly completed her ensemble.
