From the red carpet at some international film festival to a simple event that Mahira Khan might attend, it is very possible that she will carry the wow factor. Her latest look that she donned for a fabulous night out that was themed “bejewelled” was also not left out.
The event with its Royal Regalia dress and code invited many of the stars, and it was again Mahira who was the cynosure of all eyes. She wore a simple but elegant white dress set, which could not have been made better by the right accessories.
This was minimalism at its best: a tailored sleeveless blazer, a white bandeau top, high-waisted, clean trousers, and no excess material or embroidery. The beauty of the white outfit was that Mahira could spice it up with the kind of accessories she chose.
She did it with layered diamond and emerald ornaments on the neck, drop earrings, and a clutch bag studded with crystals. But the great thing about accessories is that they complement the overall look without overpowering the white theme.
Then there was Mahira Khan in white, which was simply the best decision amongst all the sequins and glitters that could have been applied to any color.
But there is no right place or right time for an all-white outfit, because all-white makes daylight-saving time keep time for you. And that is something she did on her European sojourn recently when she was seen in a long white cotton kurta with flared white cotton culottes. She said, ‘White kurta travels everywhere, I tell you,’ and indeed it was true with each of those words she spoke.
