Mallika Sherawat embraces sustainable fashion at ITA awards

In a refreshing turn away from fashion norms, actress Mallika Sherawat opted to repeat a stunning outfit at the recent Indian Television Academy Awards, ITA Awards, which took place in Mumbai. Looking striking, the actress was seen gracing the red carpet with a Dolce and Gabbana animal print gown, which she wore first in 2011 for IIFA Awards and then during an outing in 2017.

The strapless leopard print mermaid gown was boldly eye-catching on its own, with a fitted bodice flared out at the knees. Against the boldness of the gown, a minimum of accessories was adopted: just a necklace, dangling earrings, and bracelets. Her hair flowed in loose waves to heighten the glamorous old Hollywood effect.

In a previous outing, Mallika had left her fans in awe with a lavender sequin saree from Irrau by Samir Mantri. The ethnic ensemble included an intricate sequined outline that added a touch of sparkle to her traditional look. She paired the saree with a matching strappy sequined blouse and accessorized with dangling earrings and lavender bangles.

And before that, too, Mallika had turned heads in a solid red saree, which she paired with a gold sequined blouse with a deep plunging neckline. Jhumkas and gold bangles rounded up the look, with shimmer on her eyelids, soft kohl, fluttery lashes, blushed cheeks, and matte red lips, bringing forth a look of captivating and vibrant style.
