The off-shoulder corset is made of expensive metallic silk taffeta with thousands of hand-sewn Swarovski crystals. An elaborately detailed design features teardrop crystals cascading gracefully over the front, shoulders, and hips. Adding a touch of magic, one shoulder hosts a delicate beaded butterfly that is symbolic of the ethereal nature that characterizes Lacroix’s creations. There have only been five of these corsets in existence, and this indeed is a collector’s piece, with its exclusivity and timeless elegance.
