Nita Ambani dazzles in red banarasi saree at NMACC preview

As anticipation builds for the NMACC India Weekend, the official page of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) has released a captivating video featuring Nita Ambani inviting attendees to experience this grand event at Lincoln Center in New York. The video has sparked excitement, particularly among fashion enthusiasts, who have been enamored by Nita’s sindoori red Banarasi silk saree, which beautifully showcased Indian craftsmanship on an international stage.

In the video, Nita Ambani is seen draped in a beautiful red Banarasi silk saree, delicately studded with intricate gold brocade embroidery and broad double gold borders that adds an opulence touch. The Gandabherunda motifs are made from real gold and silver zari adorning the saree. The six yards of classic drape have been perfectly pleated at the front, while the pallu has been draped over her shoulder and is delicately pinned at her arm.

Complementing the saree, Nita opted for a matching red silk blouse featuring vertical gold thread embroidery. The half-sleeve blouse showcased brocade detailing at the cuffs, a wide U-shaped neckline, and a cropped hem, blending modern elements with traditional elegance.

She completed her look with striking gold jewelry, including a statement necklace with a large pendant, matching earrings, traditional rings, and stacked kadhas. Her hair was styled in a sleek, center-parted bun, accentuated by a red bindi. For makeup, she chose bold brows, kohl-rimmed eyes with sharp black eyeliner, voluminous lashes, a hint of blush, luminous highlighter, and glossy coral-pink lips.

The NMACC India Weekend, scheduled from 12 to 14 September, will be celebrated across vibrant events. Nita Ambani expressed, “This isn’t just a weekend of performances by bringing NMACC to New York; it’s about India’s cultural voice having spread to a global audience and the best of India being showcased to the world.

This striking saree was first spotted during Nita’s visit to New York in May, accompanied by designer Manish Malhotra for a preparatory tour.
