Festivals are a time for togetherness and tradition, but it is also a great time to showcase stunning festive fashion. This week, as Makar Sankranti and Pongal 2024 celebrations began, many celebrities joined in the spirit of the occasion with their ethnic ensembles, and Pooja Hegde sure did.
The actress took to Instagram and shared an arresting picture in which she was seen dripping in elegance, garbed in this pretty attire, oozing with style. Wrapped up in a breathtaking blush pink saree, Pooja exuded elegance.
Crinkled, the fabric flows into a shining embroidered border at its edge, which fitted her quite perfectly. A blouse of the same soft hue, which fit as the saree blouse, came with three-quarter sleeves, bedecked with crystal embellishments, and a dipped neckline for added glammed-up detail.
Pooja paired it with a delicate filigree choker necklace highlighting intricate detailing, along with a traditional jhumka. The wrists were accessorized with chunky stone-embellished bracelets to add to the festive vibe.
Equally appealing was the makeup of the bride, Pooja, for which the brown locks had been turned into a voluminous ponytail; her features upfront were the talking point. The exaggerated cat-eye makeup with well-defined brows framed her radiant face, while a neutral pink lip and a tiny sparkling bindi on the forehead completed the ensemble.
It has also proved a look to be just ideal for serving the purpose of reminding us that festive fashion doesn’t necessarily have to be loud and brashy, with Pooja Hegde setting quite a dainty example.
