With the increasing trend of pre-draped sarees, the traditional Kanjeevaram saree has become yet again a favourite among celebrities, and Raashii Khanna was recently seen joining this bandwagon.
Khanna’s festive wardrobe has been ruling ethnic style inspiration in no time. As Makar Sankranti is around the corner, she infused the festive vibe with a beautiful Kanjeevaram attire. The red-toned Kanjeevaram lehenga, picked from designer Kavitha Gutta, had the perfect blend of tradition and modernity. Subtle orange hues added a striking contrast to it.
Inspired from South Indian temples, the saree sported heavy gold-toned embroidered borders down the pallu and hemline. The heavily embroidered blouse and the traditional jhumkas were complementary, adding an extra tinge of glamour to the outfit.
Earlier, Khanna stole the show with her “chasing sunsets” theme as she wore a bright yellow lehenga with pastel pink detailing. The sunflower patches on the skirt added a fun element to her outfits. A strapless blouse completed her look, setting the bar really high for festive fashion.
