Rashmika Mandanna shines in red salwar kameez for Navratri

As Navratri celebrations unfold across the country, celebrities are soaking in the resplendent spirit of the season with stunning ethnic wear. Favorite actress Rashmika Mandanna wished her fans Happy Navratri on Day 6 in a breathtakingly beautiful red salwar kameez by Tarun Tahiliani. According to Drik Panchang, the color red is considered very auspicious on this day, as it depicts love, power, and passion.

Rashmika shared a series of pictures on her official Instagram, in which she looked excited for the day. She wrote, “I was waiting for today…Today is red, so I had to put these up! I wish all of you a very, very, very happy Navratri. Sending you all lots of love and big hugs.

Bucking the convention of sarees, this beauty wore a salwar suit for the festive wear in intricate red and gold embroidery. The Anarkali-styled outfit had a plunging neckline with some great detail on the beads; on top of it was an equally matching sheer dupatta. Minimal in accessorizing, Rashmika let her outfit do all the talking with a couple of statement rings and delicate earrings.

Focusing on her hair and makeup, soft waves and fresh natural makeup adorned Rashmika. A dewy base, light tint of lip color, highlighted cheekbones, well-defined eyebrows, and a dot bindi graced her face. Block heels completed the sophistication, allowing Rashmika to walk with grace and poise.

Apart from her Christmas looks, Rashmika is all set for a busy schedule. She will once again turn Srivalli in the second installment of Pushpa opposite Allu Arjun and is expected to don the role of Yesubai Bhonsale – wife of Chatrapati Sambhaji-in Chhaava opposite Vicky Kaushal.

Navratri started on October 3 and will end with Vijay Dashami on October 12, as festivities in respect of the nine avatars of Maa Durga rejoice, thus heralding her victory over the demon king Mahishasura. This is a belief symbolizing good’s ultimate triumph over evil.
