A grand gala was organized in Mumbai for the milestone, and a breathtaking fashion show had the guests gasping in amazement. Amongst the high-profile attendants, singer and entrepreneur Ananya Birla gave a sneak peek into the evening through her social media. The invite-only gala gave a sneak peek into the world of high fashion as big names in the industry came together to honor Sabyasachi. Ananya shared pictures that took one back in time to old Kolkata’s charm where the ramp was set ablaze with the designer’s iconic creations.
Celebrities like Ananya Panday, Sonam Kapoor, Masoom Minawala, Anupama Chopra, and Anaita Shroff Adajania were part of the event. Ananya even took a warm picture of herself hugging Sabyasachi, and there was even a video clip where the designer was walking down the ramp along with Deepika Padukone and Christy Turlington.
By evening, for the “Strictly Black” dress code that was strictly implied, Ananya wore a gorgeous black shift dress designed by Sabyasachi. The black shift had intricate floral embroidery all over, with a high round neckline and 3/4th sleeves. Accessorizing, she wore sleek leather stockings and heeled boots, accessory-wise with a timepiece and a stack of gold bracelets. Completing it was a floral bag in matching shades from Sabyasachi, elevating her look to divine levels.
