Sara Ali Khan has often managed to marry her love for food with dedication to fitness, and recently, she shared what wellness is all about for her. For the actor, indulgence is part of life, but she makes sure those calories are knocked off with equally rigorous workouts, while the healthy work-life balance comes with regular breaks from the schedule of her successive films.
Recently, in an interview with NDTV, Khan explained wellness as a holistic affair. “Wellness is when the body, mind, and soul are in tune and at ease. These activities develop the mind-meditation and reading. Working out, yoga, and traveling feed the body and the soul. For this balance, one has to spend enough time alone; that is wellness for me,” she says.
Khan also spoke about the importance of seeking peace in everyday living. She said, “All work should be performed with feeling, slowly, concentrated and in ease. The world is moving at a very fast pace now; it has less time for silence and peacefulness, so it needs balance.
Earlier, Khan spoke about the importance of taking a break from social media and devoting time to herself. She relaxes with mountain trekking, going to places away from city hustle and bustle, and doing meditation. On her recent visit to Kedarnath, she maintained the same momentum of her lifestyle and prayed at the temple, had the local food, and was in a candid mood amidst serenity.
