Actor Sonam Kapoor turned heads at Mukesh Ambani‘s Ganesh Darshan event in Mumbai recently. She opted for a look by celebrated designer Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.
Sonam wore a handcrafted red ghagra set in crushed silk, a fabric pioneered by the duo over three decades ago. The backless blouse featured heavy beadwork along with a matching dupatta.
Her elegant traditional attire saw a touch of modern sensibility through the blouse design. Known for their timeless creations, the designers paid homage to their debut collection through Sonam’s ensemble.
Stylist Rhea Kapoor completed the look with bold red alta, braided hair, and statement earrings from Amrapali. Sonam draped the dupatta asymmetrically, adding drama to her look.
The Ambani residence saw many Bollywood celebrities in attendance seeking blessings on an auspicious day, including Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Sidharth Malhotra, and Sara Ali Khan among others.
Sonam stood out for her understated festive attire promoting Indian couture. Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla once again displayed their mastery through a revival piece on the seasoned actress.
