Triptii Dimri and Kartik Aaryan radiate elegance in handloom at Manish Malhotra’s opulent showcase

Manish Malhotra celebrates the spirit of India with a fashion show.

Noted designer Manish Malhotra hosted a special fashion show ‘Namo Bharat: Seva, Saahas, Sanskruti’ in Mumbai to commemorate PM Modi‘s birthday during Seva Pakhwada 2024.

The show orchestrated at Taj Mahal Palace showcased Malhotra’s handloom collection ‘Evara’ that paid homage to India’s heritage crafts.

Actors Triptii Dimri, Kartik Aaryan, Sonali Bendre, and Hina Khan turned muses for the designer, walking down the runway in exquisite Indian ensembles.

Triptii wowed in a traditional Banarasi lehenga with intricate zardozi work. Kartik Aaryan complemented her in a black sherwani and trousers.

Sonali dazzled in a green-red saree while Hina looked ethereal in a pastel pink kurta and pants set paired with an embroidered dupatta.

Blending opulence with tradition, Malhotra’s collection celebrates generations of craftsmanship passed down in weaves and textiles.

In a social media post, the designer spoke of honoring survivors and showcasing India’s spirit of resilience through its sartorial heritage on the occasion. The event highlighted the country’s diversity in culture and craft at a grand yet meaningful scale.
