Cricketer Shreyas Iyer purchases Mumbai commercial property

Cricket sensation Shreyas Iyer is the latest celebrity to join the league of young Indians buying commercial property, and that too in Mumbai, a 510 sq ft property. Which translates to ₹56,863 per square foot, stated the documents of registration.

Cricketer Shreyas Iyer is the latest of many sportspersons to invest in income-generating commercial structures in Mumbai. In the latest transaction, Iyer has invested in an item of immovable property situated in the Worli locality for rupees two only.

There was a dip of 7.3% to 9 crore in the route requests to subordinate authorities, data obtained through Right to Information (RTI) by Propstack revealed.

And the sale deed was executed on the same date of the sale, which is 16th July. As per the papers, the property lies in a building known as Godavari Industrial CHSL in Adarsh Nagar, Worli, Mumbai.

KR’s property transactions records revealed that the property bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders’ captain is a 510-square-foot carpet area and at a price of ₹ 56,863 per square foot.

The above cricketer could not be taken to accord his comment on the situation.

In September 2021, the cricketer had purchased a flat in The World Towers with Macrotech Developers in Mumbai for 2380 sq ft at the rate of Rs 49,817 per sq ft. As records disclosed to Zapkey revealed, the flat came with three car parks.

As for the documents, he had spent more than Rs ₹12 crore on the apartment.
