Microsoft India acquires 25-acre land near Hyderabad for ₹181 crore

MICROSOFT India has acquired a piece of land from Natco Pharma Limited and Time Cap Pharma Labs Pvt Ltd through some papers in Mekaguda village around Hyderabad.

Propstack revealed that Microsoft Corporation (India) Private Limited has acquired 25 acres of land in Mekaguda, close to Hyderabad, for a valuation of ₹181.25 crore, as shown by property registration documents.

According to documents, Natco Pharma Limited and Time Cap Pharma Labs Pvt Ltd sold the land parcel on September 11, 2024. As stated in the documents, this transaction involved paying a stamp duty of ₹9.96 crore, a registration fee of ₹3.62 crore, and other charges above ₹18 lakh.

An email query was sent to Microsoft Corporation (India) Pvt Ltd, while Natco Pharma Ltd and Time Cap Pharma Labs Pvt Ltd could not be reached for their comments. The story will be updated if a response is received. Microsoft Corporation India has been on a land-buying spree for the last two years.

According to some property registration documents accessed by Square Yards, Microsoft, the global technology giant, had invested over ₹1,000 cr by buying more than 30 acres of land in Hinjewadi, Pune’s major IT hub. According to Square Yards, Microsoft Corporation (India) bought 16 acres of land in Pune from Viva Highways in August for ₹453 crores.
