According to the property registration documents accessed by Zapkey, Shaila Merchant, mother of Radhika Merchant, married to billionaire businessman Anant Ambani, has bought a luxury sea-facing apartment.
The apartment was registered on October 14. Four car parking spaces are included in the flat.
According to the documents, a stamp duty of ₹1.03 crore and registration charges of ₹30,000 were paid on the apartment.
The apartment was sold by Prestige Projects Private Limited, which is part of the Bengaluru-based Prestige Group.
A query was sent to Prestige Group, but Shaila Merchant did not receive a response. The copy will be updated once a response is received.
According to local brokers, the per sq ft price at which an apartment has been sold to Radhika Merchant’s mother is about ₹80,936. The apartments are on higher floors and open to the Mumbai Coastal Road and the Arabian Sea.
