Through the years, the abundant beaches of Alibaug have always beckoned the Mumbai VIPs, and the latest star to arrive on the scene is Suhana Khan. It is in the news that the fresh face on the silver screen who opened herself to acting by playing a character in ‘The Archies’ on Netflix has bought herself a giant farmland facing Alibaug.

The 78,361 square feet of agricultural land came with a hefty tag of ₹9.5 crore, of which Suhana is understood to have paid ₹57 lakh as stamp duty for the deal, this much revealed in the documents accessed by IndexTap.com. This purchase goes to supplement her growing Alibaug portfolio as the actress had paid ₹12.91 crore last year, June ((for building) 1.53 acres of agricultural landholding, which also includes 3 existing structures.)

Thal village, located just 12 minutes away from Alibaug, the smallest but most visited coast known, has become the favorite of India’s rich and famous elite. There are whispers that Suhana Khan, daughter of the renowned superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has already purchased a sea-facing luxurious property in the village, which has a swimming pool and a helipad that embodies the family’s class.

The popularity of Alibaug as a getaway destination for the wealthy and famous has only increased recently due to the improvements in road and sea transport, including the Ro-Ro and speed boat services from Mumbai, as well as the completion of the Trans Harbour Link sea bridge. Bungalows in the area vary in price from a modest INR 8 crore to a staggering INR 70 crore, reflecting the luxurious atmosphere and stunning charm of the place.
