Apple expands investment in Vietnam, CEO Tim Cook announces

Apple, Inc., under its CEO Tim Cook, has confirmed its dedication to a US$1.4 billion investment in Vietnam. The following announcement is part of a strategy to increase the number of companies exposed in Vietnam. Vietnam has been a proven export machine for Apple. While the President conveyed this message to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, it was at a meet-up in Vietnam’s administrative capital, the city of Hanoi.

To make it easier for Apple to invest in Vietnam, there will be an establishment of a working group dedicated to giving Cook an explanation that the Prime Minister sent. On Monday, Apple Published a Statement wishing to add more money to suppliers who operate in Vietnam, and this also includes a progress reflection on a current project described as a water safety project for school children in the country. The company has invested about VND770,000 billion in the nation, with 300,000 work opportunities created.

Apple is one of the leading companies in the world, and Vietnam is its main manufacturing location. Some of the products in Vietnam are iPads, AirPods, Apple Watch, and MacBooks. The firm cooperates with 25 companies in Vietnam that are worldwide famous brands as well, namely Foxconn, GoerTek, Luxshare, Intel, Samsung, and Compal.

During his visit, Cook had meetings with the suppliers, students, content creators, and Apple product users that existed there, as well as contributed to the consolidation of the company’s involvement in the Vietnamese market. Furthermore, for example, Apple Canadian supplier, Foxconn, are in pursuit to set-up their some of more operations in Vietnam as they found the hostilities in United States-China is not diminishing soon.
