When triggered, this prompts an AI-driven functionality that types a record of the meeting’s discussions in Google Docs.
Google has also focused on the overall value to the customer and that they feel like they are using quality products. Subsequently to this, Google has recently started issuing the new feature named ‘Take Notes For Me’ on Google Meet, which is available for some Google Workspace clients.
Whereas in the past you would still have to take all minutes of the meeting by, say, writing them on paper—in PDF format—that is no longer the case. This latest feature powered by the Gemini AI will assist you in this by making it unnecessary for you to do it.
In other words, what this new feature does is to write down meeting notes and offer previews to persons who are apt to get to the meeting only halfway through.
At the moment, this is a feature reserved only for the Google Meet PC program.
As reported by the tech giant, the “Take notes for me” is to be released September 10th for all Google Workspace users with Gemini Enterprise, Gemini Education Premium, or AI Meetings and Messaging add-ons. At present, the feature is available only in English, as previously described in this analysis.
