iPhone 16, Apple to debut M4-powered MacBooks, including budget-friendly pro models

Apple gearing up for new MacBook launch event after iPhone 16 series.

Tech giant Apple is reportedly planning another launch event to unveil a new MacBook lineup powered by its latest M4 chipset.

This comes after the company wrapped up the annual iPhone launch introducing iPhone 16 models with powerful A18 processors.

As per analyst Mark Gurman, Apple is set to unveil new MacBooks featuring the M4 chip delivering faster speeds and enhanced machine learning capabilities.

The M4 is said to offer up to 1.5x faster CPU performance and 4x rendering power for applications like video editing.

Models expected include 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models featuring M4 or higher-end M4 Pro options for professionals.

An updated iMac, 14-inch low-end MacBook Pro, and Mac Mini are also anticipated with standard or Pro variations. While most are ready to ship, higher-end laptops and Mac Mini may debut alongside others.

Lower-end iPad launches are also anticipated at the event along with updates to MacBook Air and Mac Studio next year.

The planned showcase will highlight Apple’s strengthened focus on professional creative users with more powerful yet accessible devices.
