Samsung launches affordable Galaxy F15 5G smartphone

South Korean tech giant Samsung has expanded its budget 5G smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the new Galaxy F15. Priced aggressively at just ₹16,499, the device packs a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset and a massive 6,000mAh battery, aiming to make 5G connectivity accessible to the masses.

The Galaxy F15 sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD with a 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it’s powered by the 6nm Dimensity 6100+ octa-core SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. On the software front, it boots Samsung’s OneUI 5.1 based on Android 13 out of the box.

In the imaging department, the Galaxy F15 houses a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50MP main shooter, accompanied by 2MP depth and macro sensors. The waterdrop notch at the front accommodates an 8MP selfie snapper.

Delivering all-day battery life is the phone’s standout 6,000mAh cell with 25W fast charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.

With its blend of future-proof 5G silicon, massive battery capacity, and Samsung’s software experience, the Galaxy F15 seems poised to bring flagship-grade features to budget smartphone buyers seeking a smooth multimedia and gaming experience without burning a hole in their pockets.

The Samsung Galaxy F15 5G will be available starting March 15 across online and offline channels in two configurations – 6GB+128GB priced at ₹16,499 and 8GB+128GB at ₹18,499.
