Samsung to introduce fan edition foldable: Galaxy Z Fold FE and Galaxy Z Flip FE

The South Korean tech giant Samsung is pushing the boundaries of its foldable smartphones further with the expected release of Fan Edition models. The Galaxy S Z Fold FE and Galaxy S Z Flip FE are to be unveiled later this year after being preceded by their premium counterparts, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.

The tipster previously known to the public for leaking information about new devices from a trusted source, also disclosed so. The Galaxy Fold FE and Pro or Galaxy Flip FE will differ in their chipsets, which may be Exynos or Qualcomm, depending on the market. The Galaxy Z Flip FE reportedly has the same amount of RAM as its predecessor, which is 8 GB. However, the Galaxy Z Fold FE may also come with as much as 16 GB of RAM.

We have come to know of a leak that seems to suggest that, based on the market, there will be Fan Edition foldable that will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, while in other regions, Samsung is expected to roll out the already-released Exynos 2300 SoC. As far as we know, in the Fan Edition line-up, only one model will be released.

The Galaxy Z Flip FE is anticipated to come in two RAM options: With memory options of either 8GB or 12GB and storage choices that can be expanded up to 256GB or even 512GB. It is claimed to feature 71.9×165.2×6.9mm in unfolded format and 71.9×84.9×15.9/17.1mm when folded format. On the contrary, Galaxy Z Fold is believed to have more memory options as well as storage capacities. The choices of memory are going to range from 12GB to 16GB, whereas storage is 256 GB or 512 GB. The shipping dimensions should be drawn into the media posts thanks to the spread of rumors, that is, 67.1×155.1×15.8/14.2mm when it is closed or 130.1×155.1×6.3mm when it is opened.

This year, Samsung is supposed to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 in July, and the two more economical models are probably going to appear in September and October.

It should be noted that the launch of Foldable FE phones has not yet been announced, officially, by the Samsung and the exact model names of FE editions of the phone have not been confirmed yet.
