“Tragic Discovery: Three more Israeli hostages found dead in Gaza”

Three more Israeli hostages were found dead in Gaza, the Israeli Defense Force reported recently.

The ones they are named are Hanan Yablonka, Michel Nisenbaum, and Orion Hernandez, it said in a statement.

The IDF asserted that the corporal as well as the others were found dead in Jabalia, a town in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, late at night in a raid conducted in cooperation with the Shin Bet, Israel’s domestic intelligence agency.

It follows the discovery of three other hostages ‘bodies in Gaza only one week ago.

Their bodies were among 252 people swept off their feet when Hamas gunmen attacked Israel on October 7, effectively killing about 1,200 people.

As of September 2008, the data published by the Israeli authorities reports that there are about 130 people still in Gaza.

Nearly 50 people died in the attack, including Hanan Yablonka, 42, who was shot, and Orion Hernandez, 32, who died of suffocation when he fled the scene of the Nova music festival from the gunmen. Most of the victims—more than 360—were mainly young people who died at the festival.

Michel Nisenbaum, 59, was last seen leaving the house to take his green Volkswagen Beetle, which he nicknamed “Daisy” and painted with daisy flowers, to collect the four-year-old granddaughter, who had been staying with her father at a base on the Gaza Strip border.

Orion Hernandez was perhaps the girlfriend of Shani Louk, one of the women whose bodies were recovered last week.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu posted on X: ”Indeed, we have the internal and moral obligations to try to bring back our hostages—tthe living and the dead—aand that is what we are doing.”

Israel re-established an attack on Jabalia two weeks after its withdrawal, saying that Hamas forces had strengthened themselves at that place.

The operation began after a raid by the group on October 7, which led to the Israeli military going on the offensive across the entire Gaza Strip with the aim of dismantling the group and releasing the hostages.

More than 3,060 Palestinian and 3,310 Israeli deaths have been reported in the war, Gaza’s Hamas-run health ministry said.
