WhatsApp revamps the calling interface for a smoother user experience

According to WABETAINFO, this change seems to be an effort to optimize the flow of users during a call and consequently make WhatsApp’s calling feature even more convenient as a source of communication.

The beta update version 2. The beta update version 2 is an improvement to the initial beta release of this software program and comes with several enhancements, including 24. 7. The last version, 19, has a new interface where the back shortcut has been replaced with the minimize button. This change relates to one problem experienced by many users in which they thought that the back button signified the call’s termination, which consequently ended up compounding the confusion.

The release of this fresh skin to beta reviewers also reflects the new call bar and the enlargement of the profile photo, allowing the user to identify the person they are communicating with.

Previous updates to the interface of WhatsApp calls have usually been directed towards redesigning the top portion of the screen to have a semi-transparent overlay to help with button visibility and differentiation.

These constant updates of WhatsApp to refine and redesign the calling interface are, therefore, a good indication of the company’s objective to deliver a new look and better user experience for millions of users.

Interacting with the bottom calling bar interface is starting to be expanded to more beta users, and it can be expected that it will be included in the final version of the app soon.
