Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal congratulated BJP leader Rekha Gupta on her election as Delhi’s next chief minister. Congratulations to Rekha Gupta ji on becoming Delhi’s Chief Minister. I hope she will implement all the promises given to the people of Delhi.
We will stand by her in all works for the development and well-being of the people of Delhi,” tweeted Kejriwal. AAP leader and former chief minister of Delhi Atishi wished that the BJP would implement all the things they had promised in the manifesto.
“I commend Rekha Gupta for becoming the CM…I hope that the BJP will complete all the promises which they have given to the people of Delhi…I would like to say from the AAP side that our party is always prepared to give our support to the BJP for the developmental work here…She will become the fourth CM of Delhi, and it is a very good thing that women are coming out in politics with great enthusiasm,” said Atishi, while speaking to ANI.
BJP MLA Rekha Gupta met Delhi LG Vinai Kumar Saxena and staked claim to form Delhi’s new government after she was elected as Delhi BJP legislative party’s leader. She will take oath as the capital’s chief minister at a swearing-in ceremony which will be held at the iconic Ramlila Maidan on February 20.
