Thousands of Bangladesh’s Hindu community gathered at Laldighi Maidan in Chittagong, demanding rights and security from the interim government.
The Sanatan Jagran Manch organized a mass rally on Friday at the historic Laldighi Maidan in Chittagong, where thousands of Hindus came together to demand minority rights and security from the interim government, reported The Times of India.
The Hindu activists stated that they would not stop their mass demonstration unless the Bangladesh government, led by Muhammad Yunus, fulfilled eight demands.
According to The Times of India, they have also called for the modernization of the existing Sanskrit and Pali education boards and demanded a five-day holiday for Durga Puja.
