Sarah Rahanuma, Newsroom Editor at Gazi TV, a Bengali-language satellite and cable television channel, was murdered. Her dead body was discovered in a lake in Dhaka.
The local media said that her body was discovered in the Hatirjheel Lake in the country’s capital on Wednesday.
The Officer in Charge (OC) of the DMCH police outpost, Inspector Bachchu Mia, said that they had recovered her body.
People on the shore tried to bring the dead body out of the water and took it to DMCH, where the doctor gave her a declaration of death.
