Assuming that he exercises enough command on his iPhone to erase the messages beyond retrievals, the businessman found his folly when his wife stumbled on the saved chimes of the exchanged messages on the iMac, which the couple jointly used.
’If you are told a message is deleted, then you should be allowed to believe that it has been deleted,’ the man snapped when pointing the finger at Apple for not making the users aware that if a message is deleted from a device, it is not necessarily done from the other connected devices it could be. The final decision to connect all the family’s devices to one Apple ID was the last straw that turned the man into a criminal.
