Threats Target Trump Cabinet Nominees, FBI Launches Investigation.

In a concerning development, the transition team of United States President-elect Donald Trump has reported that several of his cabinet nominees and administration appointees have been subjected to violent threats, including bomb threats and “swatting attacks.”

The Trump transition team spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt, stated, “Last night and this morning, several of President Trump’s Cabinet nominees and Administration appointees were targeted in violent, unAmerican threats to their lives and those who live with them.”

According to Leavitt, these attacks ranged from bomb threats to “swatting,” a dangerous practice where a false emergency is reported to law enforcement to provoke a response from armed police. Despite these threats, the spokesperson noted that law enforcement and other authorities acted swiftly to ensure the safety of those targeted.

The Trump transition team expressed gratitude for the rapid response of the authorities, with Leavitt stating, “President Trump and the entire Transition team are grateful for their swift action.”

Among the nominees targeted were Matt Gaetz, Trump’s initial pick for attorney general; former New York congressman Lee Zeldin, who has been nominated to lead the Environmental Protection Agency; New York Rep.

The White House has been monitoring the situation closely, with spokesperson Saloni Sharma confirming that President Joe Biden has been briefed on the matter. The administration has also been in contact with Trump’s transition team and federal law enforcement agencies.
