
A car bomb explosion blew up on a main road near the northern Syrian city of Manbij, killing 14 women and one man, with another 15 women injured, according to Syria’s civil defense officials.
All victims were farm workers who became victims in this brutal act that has sent shockwaves across the region. No group has claimed responsibility for this heinous attack yet.
This incident is the second car bomb explosion within three days in this region. On Saturday, a similar attack in the center of Manbij killed four civilians and injured nine others, including children, according to Syria’s state news agency SANA.
Manbij city is about 30 kilometers (19 miles) south of the Turkish border, but west of the Euphrates River.
