The adult film star was found dead at her New Mexico residence on the 1st of March this year.
The official cause of death of adult film star Sophia Leone has been announced half a year after her passing.
TMZ rips that the death was accidental as it happened due to an overdose of the substance by a 26-year-old. For instance, Ms. Leone was found dead in her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on March 1, and the death was first classified by police as suspicious and ‘one of a kind’.
Ms. Leone was said to have alcohol dependency issues, and he was informed by a detective that her mother had reported her as such.
It has now been determined from the investigation that Leone died of an overdose that was accidental. But again, it was not well defined as to which substance she had taken.
The news of her death was first aired when Ms. Leone’s stepfather, Mike Romero, created an account on GoFundMe to solicit for money to have a memorial made for her.
But it was unclear which substance she had consumed.
The official explanation of the death of adult movie actor Sophia Leone has only come six months after her demise.
A source quoted by the TMZ news website stated that the deceased was 26 years old and died out of a drug overdose, an incident that was deemed to have occurred by accident. On March 1, police found Ms. Leone dead in her New Mexico home, and they described her death as “suspicious” and “unusual.
Ms. Leone also had a history of alcohol dependence as well as thoughts of suicide, as her mother once shared with a detective.
The matter has therefore ended with the findings by the investigators that Leone died by accidental opioid overdose. Nevertheless, it was never clear which substances the woman had consumed.
Her death was brought to light when Ms. Leone’s stepfather, Mike Romero, solicited for her memorial via her GoFundMe account.
