Deadly attack kills top Hamas leader in Tehran

Hamas Leaders’ Assassination: In a rather stunning event on Wednesday, the leading Palestinian militant group head, Ismail Haniyeh, was assassinated in Tehran-Iran. The information is fully corroborated, and both the side of Hamas and clerks of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards claimed the news.

His son Abdul Salam Haniyeh also mourned the death of his father, and, in martyrdom terms, Ismail wanted to die in this way. He said that Haniyeh had already successfully resisted four attempts on his life and that this would not change its activities – the resistance.

The Iranian government expressed its rejection of the killing, as the Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said that Haniyeh’s martyrdom in Tehran would increase and solidify the link between Tehran, Palestine, and the resistance.

The Qatari foreign ministry also condemned the assassination, describing it as being a heinous crime that might lead the region to the circle of chaos.

Other regional and International personalities, including the Russian deputy foreign minister and the Head of Yemen’s Houthi Supreme Revolutionary Committee, expressed the same sentiments.

The releases came after Sami Abu Zuhri, a senior Hamas official, insisted that the group’s path would persist irrespective of the costs to be paid.

The untimely demise of Ismail Haniyeh has attracted condemnable from all corners of the globe and has put a question mark on whether there is any possibility of escalating the violence in the already sensitive region of the Middle East.
