Deadly clashes in Gaza: Israeli attacks claim 18 lives

One can sing of a sad event: the Mawasi region of Gaza has been a scene of calamity as Israeli tanks advanced into western Rafah and fired shells at the displaced people’s tents. This caused the loss of at least 18 people and left thirty-five people injured.

It is stipulated that one of the Israeli armored vehicles mysteriously exploded after running over a Hamas-sown explosive device, thereby taking the tensions higher.

The White House has reacted to the recent criticism done by Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, where he criticized the stoppage of a U. S. weapons delivery to Israel in the international media as ’ irritating’ and ’disappointing.’

This emerging public hostility between the two major allies has increased, adding new layers to the diplomatic relations that are already very well documented.

Israeli forces have also targeted and killed civilians through aerial bombardments within the past 24 hours. With pictures and graphic details, medics reported eight people were killed in an airstrike on a home in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City.

The United Nations specialists have made a call to the producers of arms, stating that they should cease supplying the arms to Israel because they could be involved in acts of breaches of international law in Gaza.

The conflict in that region has gone on for a long time. The death toll in Israel by the attacks organized by the Hamas stood at 1,139 and the civilian casualties at least 37,431 injured and 85,653 injured in the war on Gaza since October 7. Also, despite the release of hundreds of people, dozens of detainees are still kept in Gaza.

As the situation remains unaltered, the international community watches closely hoping for the parties to find a way of settling the conflict nonviolently.
