Deadly Israeli airstrikes ravage Gaza, civilian casualties soar

Unfortunately, the most recent air strike by Israel in the area of Sheikh Radwan in the city of Gaza has cost the lives of not less than six Palestinian civilians. The sad news arises that three other bodies have been pulled from the debris in a house that was bombed out in the al-Mina district, more to the north of the city.

The death toll from violence has risen yet further, and among the six people who died in the central Gaza region, at least three were killed in an Israeli bombing of a home in the town of Az-Zawayda in the Deir el-Balah district.

Down south, the finding of three hand-cuffed Palestinian bodies near the east of Rafah has been narrated by Al Jazeera’s ground staff, contributing to the increasing death figure.

It has become even worse now; the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Gaza central area was full of dead bodies and those injured in an Israeli raid on Nuseirat refugee camp. The ugly attack led to the death of 16 people and another 75 individuals got injured.

In this context, it is important to point out that Israeli activist groups have reproduced the attack of Hamas on October 7 in organizing “a day of disruption” nine months after. These are the people who are going around demanding their government to demand elections and to bring back Israeli captives in Gaza.

The intensifying aggression affects the Palestinian population mostly: at least 3,873 Palestinians have been killed and 9,468 – wounded since October 7, during Israel’s attacks on Gaza. The greatest loss of the Israeli troops is estimated to be 33. In contrast, the loss of Palestinians in these rockets and missile attacks led by Hamas is 1 139, and many more civilians are still held hostage in Gaza.

It seems that escalation in the region will continue, and neither side will yield. The number of causalities is continuously increasing.
