Drone scouting preceded Trump assassination attempt: Shocking revelations

Converting new information to the case, police officers have reported that the man who tried to shoot Donald Trump to death at a rally in Pennsylvania had flown a drone at the venue of the event earlier on. The sordid details of the atrocious act are elaborated on.

This suspect was identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, and he is said to have used the drone to fly around in search of the right angle of the drone to sky attack. Regulators still cannot be sure whether Crooks had operated the drone hours or days before the fateful event that took place on the 13th of July.

Trump, currently standing as the official Republican presidential nominee, has said that he was fortunate to be saved by luck or God when a bullet passed through his right ear while he was giving a campaign speech. The shooting led to the death of a spectator and serious injury of two other people before Crooks was shot by Secret Service agents at the scene.

The event has raised questions about the protective measures taken by the security personnel escorting Trump at an outdoor rally in the city of Butler. Australian Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle was to appear before a congressional committee on July 22nd to answer the complaints.

Authorities are yet to establish the day Crooks used the drone to scout the event, with some officials saying that it was on the day of the event. The drone, along with two explosive devices, a tactical vest, and ammunition recovered from the car belonging to the shooter, have been taken by the forces into action.

The sad episode has revealed some current problems of policing huge personalities at the political level despite the balancing act of protecting their lives from certain destructive elements while keeping them visible to the public.
