Dubai Leaks expose elite ownership of Billions in Properties by Sharif, Zardari, and Military Generals

The ‘Dubai Unlocked’ report has revealed disturbing statistics on the property ownership of foreigners in Dubai. The Pakistanis who bought 23,000 residential properties, with 17,000 of them being Pakistanis, are now the second-ranking country in the world.

In the face of bankruptcy and the citizens demanding the little things that they need, like wheat and lentils, 17,000 billionaires in Pakistan have bought 23,000 houses in Dubai. Collectively, the wealth of these politicians is calculated to be about 11 billion dollars. The ‘Dubai Unlocked’ report has exposed shocking facts about the property ownership of foreigners in Dubai. The report talks of politicians, people, and organizations that are sanctioned by the US, as well as individuals who are radicals.

The information was collected by the Center for Advanced Defense Studies (C4ADS), a non-profit organization that is located in the United States and deals with the topic of international crime and conflict. The information was passed on to Norwegian financial media E24 and the Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), which allowed a worldwide investigation involving media outlets to take place. The ‘Dubai Unlocked’ collaboration, which involves 74 partners from 58 countries, is an example of this.

The report shows that 29,700 Indians own 35,000 residential properties in Dubai, and consequently, they are the country’s number one consumers of the real estate market. With the fact that 17,000 Pakistanis have bought 23,000 residential properties, Pakistan will be the second country. Saudi Arabian and British nationals are in the third and fourth positions, respectively.

The report gives data on several hundred thousand properties and their owners in Dubai from 2020 to 2022. Apart from the people of Pakistan, the list includes the three children of President Asif Ali Zardari, the wife of Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi, four MPs, and more than six legislators from the provincial assemblies of Sindh and Balochistan.
