Elon Musk’s AI: Responding to ‘what did you do last week?

From “keeping its cool, staying true to its ethics” to “talking about the meaning of life”, the top five things done by artificial intelligence (AI) model Grok 3 will amaze you Aside from having SpaceX CEO Elon Musk at the helm, the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has become synonymous with one other thing – its go-to question to federal employees, “What did you do last week?”

On Saturday, as well, the DOGE requested the employees to explain their roles as part of the Trump administration’s overall effort to reduce government expenditure. The new mails came just a week after Musk, who US President Donald Trump had tasked with reducing the size of the government, wrote an email on February 23 with similar content.

The federal employees are being requested to provide proof of the work that they did in the last week or risk termination. While the sadistic question has left staff bewildered and anxious, News18 posed the question to Musk’s other darling – Grok 3, a man-made intelligence (AI) model which belongs to him.

Grok 3 is a sophisticated AI developed by xAI, a business founded by Musk and a group of inventors in 2023, to give useful and honest responses, usually with a pinch of external insight into humankind.

The chatbot claims its function is to help users learn about the universe and complete different tasks, taking cues from the likes of the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and JARVIS in Iron Man. Musk wants to compete against ChatGPT, Gemini and other AI systems with Grok 3.
