Elon Musk’s controversial response to Biden’s Trump comment

Later, at a North Carolina rally, Trump ridiculed Biden, saying: “I don’t even know if he is still around.

Elon Musk stirred social media with his problematic reaction to US President Joe Biden’s latest remarks.

The remarks targeted Donald Trump and his supporters at the latter’s campaign event in Scranton, Pennsylvania, on Saturday.

That rally was a final push for Vice President Kamala Harris, and therefore, it gave Biden a perfect opportunity to address key issues while launching an attack on his political opponents.

In a speech, Biden attacked Trump’s proposed tax cuts, which he mainly said favour the wealthy. This underlined the differences in economic policies between the two major political parties. He said such tax breaks would further widen the wealth gap and hurt working-class Americans.

“There’s one more thing Trump and his Republican friends want to do. They want to have a giant tax cut for the wealthy,” he said to members of a local carpenters union.

However, Biden’s peculiar remark about Trump supporters was made as he tried to capture wide attention. He commented on the nature of “macho guys” and how some might misinterpret bravery as a form of masculinity.

I tell you what, man, when I was in Scranton, we used to have a little trouble going down the plot once in a while,” he said, adding humorously, “These are the kind of guys you’d like to smack in the ass.”

This ironically light-hearted but highly controversial comment received laughter from the audience while raising eyebrows among many political commentators.
