Moving more worrisomely, Palestinians have been driven out of their homes in the Shujayea neighborhood of Gaza City following the advancing tanks of Israel.
The current stand in the region has become more tense, with the Gaza Health Ministry revealing that 47 Palestinians were killed and 52 injured within a day.
Speaking to the United Nations Security Council, the UNICEF deputy chief said,
‘The bodies of thousands more children missing since the conflict started are still under the debris.’
On the other hand, the Israeli defense minister has revealed that during his recent visit to the United States, the US has evidenced impressive coordination with Israel in force build-up in case of an Iranian attack besides the supply of weapons.
The subject conditions are still devastating. Khaled Shakhshir, a volunteer hospital technician at Al-Aqsa Hospital in Gaza’s Deir el-Balah, stated that the current situation is ‘unbearable’ to them due to malfunctioning serious equipment like Anesthesia machines.
The level of conflict has increased and heightened a lot of destructiveness, with the updated number of people killed in Israel’s Hamas-led attacks standing at 1,139 and the number of people still in captivity in Gaza in their dozens. The general fight has claimed at least 37,765 people and left 86,429 injured since the conflict erupted on October 7.
As the situation remains unpredictable and volatile now, all the international organizations emphasize the settlement of the existing conflict through non-violent means.
