According to the Gaza Health Ministry, in this latest round of attacks from Israel in the last 24-hour period, 55 Palestinians were killed, and another 132 injured. This brings a continued surge into violence as the conflict stretches into its third week.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese Health Ministry reported that at least one person had been killed and five others injured as a result of Israel’s attack on Beirut’s southern suburbs. According to at least 17 airstrikes, six buildings were destroyed without a warning.
Earlier, the Government Media Office in Gaza stated that over 770 Palestinians died and about 1,000 people were injured due to continuous Israeli military operations in Jabalia and the increased sieging of northern Gaza. The toll in Gaza rose to about 42,847 fatalities and 100,544 injuries since the beginning of hostilities on October 7, 2023.
At the same time, 1,139 were reportedly killed in Israel, along with more than 200 taken captive during Hamas-led attacks. The situation is worse in that both regions still face the aftermath of actions perpetrated these days.
