Escalating violence in Gaza leaves dozens dead and wounded

Gaza crisis continues to rage; the latest developments depicting the recent 24-hour strategic attacks. Ministry of Health in Gazan Palestinian Territory has said at least 35 Palestinians were killed, and at least 130 others were injured in course of the time.

The situation has not only escalated but also worsening as Israeli tanks and drones have crossed and entered the western parts of Rafah neighborhoods. These acts have led to the deaths of at least 9 Palestinians and where 30 others have been left injured while in the process of seeking assistance.

On the other hand, an Israeli military spokesman gives a contrary and confusing explanation, saying that “Hamas is an ideology” and “you cannot fight an ideology,” a position which is in sharp contrast to the recent statements made by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Israel will continue to attack Gaza, until Hamas is dismantled.

According to the UNRWA, currently, there are about sixty-five thousand persons and refugees in Rafah, which has been significantly decreased from the one-point-one million Palestinians who were fleeing in the southern city from the attacks by the Israeli military.

The bleak figures are even more alarming; the indicated number of Palestinians killed in their conflict with Israel is 28,932, with a total death toll of 1,139 in the Hamas-led – rocket attacks against Israel Since October 7.

The Gaza War has claimed at least 37,431 Palestinians killed and 85,653 more injured in Israel’s attacks. The only known information of over forty prisoners captured in Gaza is the fact they are confined there.
