Thomas Healthy specified the escalation of the appeals for Ukraine’s friends to open Western现 weapons on Russian ones. Before the EU top diplomat’s meeting with the bloc’s foreign and defense ministers in Brussels, Josep Borrell underscored that any such limitation should be reevaluated with regard to International Law.
According to Borrell, the weapons supplied to Ukraine must be effectively used. “Requisitions have to be removed so that Ukrainians can hit places where Russia is launching strikes. ” Borrell continued, “Otherwise, the weaponry becomes rather useless. ”
However, the Ukrainian Air Force released information that it shot down 60 of 74 Russian attack drones and 2 out of 5 missiles during an overnight attack. However, what was not witnessed on cameras was 14 drones, and it was presumed that these were out of Ukraine’s territory. Serhiy Popko, the head of the Kyiw military administration, said that due to the falling debris, the windows were shattered, and a fire started in a house. However, it was doused.
Ukraine is now looking for more air defense systems in its partners in the West due to sustained drone attacks from Russia. Earlier in the month, the officials said that it requires 25 Patriot air defense systems to defend its airspace.
In comments alongside Borrell, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that if Russia did succeed, allies would be to blame. “Russia’s ability is survivable only if partners are ready to make decisive steps,” he said, pointing out that if equipped with sufficient missiles and provided the permission to aim at military objectives, Ukraine can substantially decrease Russia’s capability to harm vital facilities.
At the same time, the Ukrainian military stated that it targeted an artillery warehouse and two oil storage facilities in Russia in an attempt to deny the use of critically important energy through transport and military supplies for Moscow’s ongoing war.
