The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on Wednesday (Aug. 28) released the initial pictures of the weapon employed by Thomas Crooks for the attempt on the life of the former head of state, Donald Trump, in Butler County, Pennsylvania, last month.
Crooks died after firing several shots by a semiautomatic rifle, an AR-15, while being chased by the US Secret Service.
The intention was to kill the former president in the head, but not even an inch of his head was touched by the bullet; instead, it hit the top portion of his right ear.
It would be recalled that a 20-year-old shooter shot at the president from a building that was 130 meters away from him, despite the perimeter that was formed by the Secret Service, FBI, and local policemen.
