Harrowing videos capture Nepal Saurya Airlines Plane crash

Less than an hour after a domestic Saury aircraft with 19 people on board to Pokhran skidded off the runway Wednesday when it attempted to take off from the only airport serving Nepal’s capital. Visuals from the site show the moments that led to an explosion into a ball of flames.

A recorded video from the CCTV cameras brings out the actual time when the plane began to crash and fell on the ground and began emitting smoke at around 11:00 am.

Among the videos shared by the local media and shared on the social platforms, one depicts the scene where fumes and thick smoke are seen emanating from the crash site as the fire tenders run risks in efforts to rescue the Omni visions’ passengers.

It also gives a scene of the neighbors near the site running to provide assistance to the rescue persons.

The second video shows the incident from behind a parked aircraft, with the occurrence recorded at the Tribhuvan International Airport.

The pilot safely ejected and was admitted to the Kathmandu Medical College Hospital, said a doctor to Associated Press. The doctor also said that the pilot has taken blows to the eyes, but the man is out of danger.

This has been said following confirmation that a fire that started from an aircraft has been extinguished. Police and emergency fighters are evacuating people and performing rescue operations at the scene of the catastrophe. About the remaining 18 people, it is being feared that they are already dead.
