Hezbollah-Israel tensions flare with drone strikes and deadly raids

The opposition between Lebanon’s Hezbollah and Israel has increased, and the former attacked the latter and launched drones inside its territory. These strikes, which struck several regions, caused the sounding of air raid warnings and subsequently drew the attention of the Israeli defense force.

It worsened when there was a heavy Israeli attack on the occupied West Bank’s Jenin ongoing at the moment. The Palestinian Health Ministry said at least four Palestinians have been killed in the violence –died after an army drone targeted the area. This comes a few days after an Israeli raid on the city of Tubas in which four more people were killed.

The recent violence has also extended to the Gaza Strip; according to the Health Ministry, forty persons have been killed and seventy-one injured in the past twenty-four hours due to Israeli attacks.

It is also crucial to note that the sides experience a growing antagonism with catastrophic consequences for all parties involved. It estimated that at least 39,653 people were killed and 91,535 injured during the previous war of Israel on Gaza.

Furthermore, the attacks conducted by Hamas in October 2022 cost the lives of approximately 1,139 people in Israel, alongside more than 200 people captured.

The situation persists to be tense, and the conflicts continue unceasingly, prompting the international community to step up monitoring and pressuring the two factions to seek a non-violent solution to their conflict.
