Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah unleashes his bold message to Israel, saying that should a major war begin in Lebanon, Hezbollah would be unleashing a war that would not be constrained and would not follow a set of rules and regulations, let alone a ceiling to its attacks.
Nasrallah boasted about a new shipment of weapons supplies and an overwhelming quantity of homemade drones and hinted at potentially invading ground troops to the north of Israel.
Taking it up a notch, Nasrallah threatened Cyprus, a member of the European Union, saying that Israel is rehearsing its plans for an attack on Lebanon. He explicitly said that if Cyprus opens the doors for using its airports and bases against Lebanon, then Hezbollah will work the country that is part of the war.
In response to Nasrallah’s statements, the Cypriot government denied participation in military actions, explaining that Cyprus is a neutral country and does not take part in the hostilities in the Middle East.
The tensions come after Israeli top officials said the country may go to war against the Lebanese Shiite movement, Hezbollah, stating that it will be anniliated and Lebanon will be severely damaged.
While verbal threats escalate and the public prepares for a major confrontation, the opportunity for a large-scale conflict grows as both Israel and Hezbollah threaten dire repercussions.
